The Sunny CowgirlsWebsite: The Sunny Cowgirls The Sunny Cowgirls consist of sisters Sophie and Celeste Cladburn. The girls spent much of their younger years on the family farm near Hamilton in Victoria before moving to Western Australia with their family when they were still in primary school. Sophie and Celeste went to high school in Perth but decided that their future lay in the country and decided to travel to shows and rodeos around WA, working hard at what ever farm type work they could get to supplement their income. They saved up enough money to record their first CD, Little Bit Rusty which was released in the first half of 2005 and which subsequently went to number 3 on the Aria country charts. Their second album, Long Five Days was released in August 2006 on Compass Brothers Records through SonyBMG. |
