Pixie JenkinsWebsite: Pixie Jenkins Pixie Jenkins was born in Launceston, Tasmania in 1957. He moved to the mainland with his family and eventually settled in Tamworth. He received his first violin when he was 13 and becasue he was living in Tamworth, the country music scene had a great influence on his playing. His first band was called The New England Rangers? and was formed in 1977. In 1979 he toured Australia with Buddy Williams? and learned to love traditional Australian country music. |
